Initiation workshop
The fundamentals to get started
Challenge your senses in this workshop for all those who want to be initiated to the art of wine tasting. Learn to recognise the clues hidden in the colour, nose and sensations of the wine in a friendly and fun way. At the end of this workshop, you will have acquired the necessary tools to participate and express yourself during a tasting.
The Initiation workshop is: a first wine to learn the technique… and 3 others to practice.
An interactive moment for all wine apprentices, and above all a moment of sharing that proves that tasting is not only for the initiated.
Raspberry, blackberry, peach, citrus, vanilla, freshness, acidity, silkiness, roundness …: Awaken your senses and discover the taster in you!
A one-hour experience illustrated by four Bordeaux wines from our selection and led by a professional from our team.

Did you know ?
In 1970 Pierre Delanoë wrote a song for Joe Dassin called Billy le bordelais.
It celebrates the benefits of Bordeaux wines, especially Saint-Emilion. Joe Dassin was inducted into the brotherhood of Les Compagnons de Bordeaux.
An extract:
” Because good Saint Emilion wine gives you the heart of a lion!
Prince, Duke or Marquis
Or Monsieur de Bordeaux
Your blood is made of wine
Much more than it is of water “.

Avril, 2024.Unmissable Bordeaux place The Wine and Trade Museum is a real gem for wine lovers and history buffs in Bordeaux. This museum is full of valuable information on the history of Bordeaux and its wines, offering a captivating immersion in the region's wine heritage. The wealth of exhibitions and documents presented allows us to better understand the evolution of the wine trade over the centuries. What really sets this experience apart is the argumentative tasting offered at the end of the tour. It’s much more than just a tasting; it is a real sensory lesson which allows you to deepen your knowledge of the different grape varieties, terroirs and winemaking techniques. Each wine tasted is accompanied by detailed explanations which enrich the experience and shed new light on what we are tasting. In short, the Musée du Vin et du Négoce is a must-see for anyone wanting to explore the fascinating history of Bordeaux and its wines, while enjoying a memorable and informative tasting experience.Penanguer C5. Février, 2024.Wine Museum, Bordeaux It is small but with history. The staff is very attentive and willing to communicate. The girl who did the tasting for us made an effort to be able to explain it in Spanish. We had a small incident at the tasting that they resolved with kindness. Recommended even with minors.Carter S10. Février, 2024.Great experience in Bordeaux This was such a great class.
