esperienza interessante all'insegna dei vigneti e della storia vinicola di Bordeaux
In molti mi avevano consigliato questo museo come attività assolutamente da non perdere qui a Bordeaux, quindi io e i miei amici abbiamo fatto un salto per vedere di cosa si trattasse. Ci hanno accolto cordialmente, spiegandoci lo svolgimento della visita, facendoci scegliere il tipo di guida, se audio o su carta e la quantità di vini da degustare, se due o tre, in entrambi i casi ci sono molte opzioni di lingua. Abbiamo quindi iniziato la visita nella prima cava più storica dove è raccontata la storia del commercio e del porto di Bordeaux, per poi proseguire nella seconda cava più tecnica, dove è spiegato il processo della produzione del vino e la vendita. Queste cave inizialmente erano cantine, infatti tutto il luogo è stato trasformato in un museo affinché fosse utile per conservare la storia non solo del quartiere ma della città e di tutta la produzione vinicola della regione. Alla fine della visita abbiamo fatto la degustazione, che ho trovato molto interessante poiché ci ha aiutato a capire meglio ciò che abbiamo assaggiato successivamente, infatti ci ha dato modo di approfondire le nostre conoscenze sui vigneti bordolesi. Alla fine abbiamo fatto un giro nella boutique dove sono a disposizione tutti i prodotti e gli oggetti inerenti i vini e l'enologia. Questa è stata la mia esperienza, devo dire ha soddisfatto a pieno le mie aspettative sia per quanto riguarda la disponibilità delle persone, sia per la struttura del museo. Se capitate a Bordeaux non potete perdervi questo museo, in quanto simbolo importante della storia e della cultura bordolesi, soprattutto se siete appassionati di vini!

Esperienza fantastica per conoscere la storia del commercio di vini e la loro produzione. SUPER CONSIGLIATA!!!
Io e il mio gruppo di amici siamo venuti a Bordeaux per una vacanza, e un giorno ci siamo imbattuti in questo museo dove per solo 5€ (essendo studenti) abbiamo potuto visitare due cave storiche trasformate in museo e fare una degustazione di 2 vini tipici di Bordeaux accompagnati da una spiegazione dettagliata ed interessante dei vigneti bordolesi. Il museo non é grande ma la storia che racconta, tramite le guide cartacee o audio fornite (in molte lingue, tra cui italiano) dal museo, é molto affascinante. Le persone che lavorano in questo luogo sono molto cordiali, preparate e cercano di offrire una migliore esperienza possibile a noi visitatori. Wine tasting with history

Good Tour & Wine Tasting Session
Even though this museum is quite small I found the audio guide much better than the one in Le Cite Du Vin. The Wine tasting session was also much better than Le Cite Du Vin as it was explained quite well by the resident expert. Entry is covered by Bordeaux City Pass

I dont understand the allure.
I dont understand the attraction here. Its two 50 yard wine cellar rooms with a nice audio guide of a bunch of small relics about wine. For me, it was so musty and stale, I was sneezing the entire time. There is a wine tasting associated with it, but I opted out since the person pouring was coughing no stop as I waited. An amazing hidden gem! Worth your time, even if you already think you know wine. You'll learn more.
We enjoyed this little museum immensely! Worth the trip. It's a self-guided tour through the cellar with interesting artifacts and information about the history and craftmanship of winemaking in Bordeaux. Fantastic small intro to Bordeaux

Well Worth the Time!
Excellent Historical Review of the Bordeaux Wine Trade. The history information dated back over 500+ years ago. It was a self guided tour with the option of an audio guide with your smart phone or a printed book. You walk through at your own pace and it is easy to go forward or back with the audio version. Charming experience
Three of us (as part of a group of ten) visited the Bordeaux Wine and Trade Museum. Mary Chantal Leboucq, who helped found the museum, provided us with a tour. Her commentary was educational, and her wonderful sense of humor made the experience entertaining as well. Mary has loved wine, wine making, and the wine business for a long time. She says her grandfather would claim that she had been born in a wine barrel. After walking through the exhibits, we were treated to an informative wine tasting – again with lots of humor.
